The Student Ministry at Calvary exists to glorify God by joining with the family in the process of discipling students who will then go make disciples, transforming our city and our world.

Weekly Discipleship

We are NOT an event driven student ministry! Discipleship happens most effectively in the everyday and ordinary rhythms of life as we seek to make disciples who are growing in the gospel and going on mission daily. Our passion is that our weekly environments of discipleship are done with excellence, focused energy, and intentional strategy. The goal is always that our students are growing in God's Word, practicing meaningful prayer, experiencing authentic friendships and gospel-community, and learning to translate knowledge into action! We currently have three primary environments for this:

Life Groups: 8:30 a.m. Sunday Mornings. This is our most valuable time with our students. Students in small circles with other students their age and trained, passionate, and intentional adult leaders to help you disciple your students.

Midweek: 6 p.m. Wednesday Nights. This is a large group worship gathering for all of our students to come together to worship and hear relevant, Biblical teaching.

D-Groups: D-groups are for our high school students and meet on Sunday evenings at 6pm to 7:30pm in homes.  In our D-groups, we will be leading students in a process of maturing spiritually, giving them the tools to turn around and give it away to others.  We want to encourage all our high school students to participate.  We have a great team of adult leaders who have been learning this process and are ready to take on a few students to train and be their coach in their continued journey of learning to follow Jesus and leading others to do the same.  I hope your student joins us!
