Biblical Theology traces the development of the Bible’s great themes: creation and new creation; promise and fulfillment; kingdom and covenant; exile and return; rest, unrest, and final rest; sacrifice and redemption; and the presence of God lost and ultimately restored.

It follows the Bible’s big story and progressive plot line, paying attention to how each book contributes to that story.  Ultimately, all these lines converge in Jesus Christ. Biblical Theology teaches us to read every passage faithfully in its immediate context while also understanding where it stands within the unfolding story of Scripture – a story that culminates in the person and work of Christ and reaches its final consummation in the new creation.
