Check In
When you come to our kids area, you will check your child in at the desk and receive a coded sticker for them that you will use to check them out once the service is over. Someone will be at the desk to help you check your child in and escort you to the appropriate classroom.
When We Meet
You are definitely welcome to take your preschoolers with you to worship, but we also have preschool childcare available for all church-wide events. Childcare is available for Sunday morning Life Groups at 8:30am, Sunday Morning Worship at 10am, Sunday Evening Worship at 5pm. On Wednesdays, we have childcare while adults meet for Open Classes and Discipleship Groups at 6pm.
Serving
All parents are asked to serve once a quarter during the worship hour. We encourage family participation by sharing in the responsibility of ministering to our preschoolers.
Only members of Calvary are allowed to serve. Prior to serving you will be asked to give permission for us to run a background check. You will also be required to watch a training video.
The Preschool office will reach out two-three weeks prior to the month you are scheduled to serve. You will be able to choose the best week for you to serve through our church software.
You will be provided a prepared curriculum. If you cannot teach the Sunday you are assigned, reach out to the preschool director for further instructions.
In addition to scheduled serving opportunities, you can also serve at VBS in the summer.
